I heard The Cure are planning on touring late this year. Has anyone else heard this?

But I hope The Cure knows and remembers that their Oslo-gig at the 2008 tour sold out quicker than any of the others, as far as I know. :)

I went to the one in stockholm. it was a great show too.
I settle for any place in northen Europe

I actually dreamt that I was going to a cure concert at Roskilde this night. so disappointed when I woke up.

Hehe. That's even worse than when I woke up and seriously needed a long shower before I was convinced that HADN'T actually won the lottery.

In the 2008 European tour I saw them in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen and Hamburg. What a week!
Of course, seeing them in my own city (Oslo), only a few hundred meters from my home, was awesome. Haven't happened since 1992!

But when it comes to venues and spirit, HAMBURG was by far the best. Color Line Arena - the name sounds cheap, but what an awesome venue!

In Stockholm, you couldn't get a real bear, only light shit.
In Oslo, you had to stand in line for 15 minutes to get one (no worries, we were filled long before the show, hehe).
In Hamburg (within their "golden cirkel"-concept, that is) you were five meters from the band (with lots of room), ten meters from a toilet (without a line in front) and they came up to you and asked if you wanted to buy a bear. Now thats the closest I've gotten to perfection when it comes to concert venues!
