Re: There Must Be An Angel Playing With My Heart... PS Ok I will translate a few minutes:
While the world is in a crisis and governements have to economize; the richer get richer The common citizen is indignant, who are confontated with less puchasing power and a governments that economize more and more But the superrich are doing something back They are giving a part of their money to society How do they think about giving ? Are they doing more now the government must economize ? And is it who pays, defines ..? What do they want back for the money they give ?
This is what you're getting.
"Money I'd say is power or influence" Dutch person
"We're given money away, but we feel it's our property" Duch person
"You make sure that more people get rich, that we are going to divide the money because then everyone will be poor" Dutch person ( later on his excuse not to give money, was because most of it was in his business, and that he got his money from his great, great, greatfather and he feels obliged to give it on to the next generation)
I am SO ASHAMED of someone like this man Bill Gates came to my country, even spoke wih him and others Helas, hardly anyone was interested to join them The Dutch are famous for some ( a lot ?) of the rich who are real avaricious, is that a good word ?
This is TEGENLICHT about how the rich give in times of crises Meet Warren Buffett( except of two the richest man of the world) With his investmentfunds Berkshire Hathaway, he gained a fortune of 40 milliard dollar. But he has decided something revolutionary Buffet: "99% that I have, more than 99% is gonna go back to society" Together with ( except for one of the most richest man) Microsoft founder Bill Gates he calls for other Milliardaires to give back money to society
Buffett: We call it The Giving Pledge
92 Milliardaires have signed The Giving Pledge, meaning to give away minimum 50% for different good causes
There Must Be An Angel...
