What the hell!!! I have to say I love the makeup, the style of hair, clothing etc. I am sorry she had a panic attack, but there was no need to put The Cure down, maybe she just realised she may not be comfortable liking The Cure after all. Fair enough. Each to their own. As for everyone criticising each other, get a life. I really think Robert would be upset to read all this, over him. Reasoning: some people are unusually scared about things to real extremities. These are fears, that are so bad they turn into phobias. Maybe she had a bad experience as a child with someone who wore a lot of make up, thus negatively associating her negative feelings with others that remind her of that. Who knows for sure. Being a bit of a psychologist I can understand to a degree. Being a mediator and a fair person. I can understand and agree with each individuals opinions on here. But talk nicely. Please I do not mean to offend anybody at all. Just constructive criticism, I hope you'll agree. I think it's just part of me being a Libran, can't help it. I just don't want people to be angry with each other. Anyway, enough of me pointing out a few things. Robert and The Cure!!! You so rock! Far out! I have never had the opportunity to see you live, and would love to one day if you are still touring! I have to say I love all your make up, and the hair is just so cool. Your voice and vocalisation is remarkable, and the music is classic. I live in Woking near London, in Surrey. Maybe if you are coming down this way you could let me know!!! You have no idea how much you guys inspire me. Your talent for such beautiful art in your presentation and music never ceases to amaze me. You guys bring me up when I am feeling down. Dude you need a new girlfriend, she's a loon, Robert has always been Robert he has never pretended to be anyone else or anything else. Why does she feel the need to put Robert down like that? Any Cure fan will pretty much stick up for Robert knowning what a hard worker he is...besides he has a beautiful wife!! You know that saying, "There is a great women behind every great man!" I don't think if I was married to Robert I would want him gone for long periods of time, Mary must feel very secure in her relationship. BTW Simon is a little cutie pie, love his legs!! I can't believe what I just read. Who ever this girl is that had a panic attack-sorry to use harsh language, but she is an I-M-B-I-C-I-L-E. By the way-the lipstick he wears? I like to call it Robert Smith Red. Obviously some people don't recognize a genius when they see one. Maybe she was disturbed by his greatness. I just saw The Cure at the infamous Coachella show-where they pulled the plug and we all ran to the front of the stage to sing "Jumping Someone Else's Train" along with the band (an unexpected acoustic version). One of the best experiences of my life. So, I must say to Mr. Smith, thank you thank you, thank you! By the way, your lipstick looked amazing!!! Oh yeah, and the boots on Mr. Gallup at the show? I am overwhelmed.

what the frick??? first of all who reacts badly to the one and only robert smith??? he and his band are just pure awesomeness!!! if you and your girlfriend are just going to feel "violated" from the awesomely unique appearance of the cure, then why put yourselves through the "fear" and "terror" of watching the show??? everyone has their own opinions and should be expressed freely...but in your case... you discust me!!!

I just a saw the cure on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and my girlfriend was scared after she saw his face ...soooo much make-up and that wrongly applied lipstick ...she had to look away because he startled her and left her disturbed..she got a panic attack from looking at his made up face and that hair scared her..... she felt violated...
