Not so much DISLIKE Morrissey, but just don't care for him in any way, and if he really DID diss Mr. Smith's hair (if it's not a rumor) then he's lame! Robert's hair is amazing :D

To be honest, I'm kind of happy that The Cure (album) wasn't so crazy big because if it was, there would be hundreds of people who know NOTHING about The Cure claiming that they love them! haha, It's much cooler this way, its like you know that the person is a true Cure fan because they actually appreciate the art that The Cure makes! :D Man! I'm so excited for Placebos new album! Their new song is so great! Oh the SMITHS?! Really?!? Man, okay...here's the thing. Their music is OKAY, but like...I heard that Robert Smith and Morrissey had a "conflict" and that they are kind of...rivals haha, so I kind of dislike Morrissey...not fair I know but oh well! hahaa I love The Cure too much to really care for The Smiths :)

I haven't been to any concerts lately. In fact the last concert I went to was The Cure's, which was last June!

was it good? i haven't been up to much recently.... :P xoxo

Gah, that's a really hard question! I'd sayyyy...This Picture. But I really love a lot of their music. My favorite album is Meds. Every song off that album is soo great. What about you? Oh what's your favorite Cure cd? Now that is a hard question! haha, but for me it has to be "The Cure" since that was the album that got me to like The Cure in the 1st place :D
Posted by Redhead5393 on 3/27/2009 12:38 AM (GMT-04:00)

Placebo is an AMAZING band. I found out about them through The Cure :) Bloc Party ROCKS! I also love Kings of Leon and Franz Ferdinand. Those are 2 bands I didn't list. DUDE, I ALSO CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW CURE CD! The dark side...:] I hope they decide to release it soon!!!! Have you ever seen The Cure live?
Posted by Tim Burton on 3/23/2009 11:14 PM (GMT-04:00)
I'm good thanks for asking! How are you? I've never heard the Paris Concert cd :[ But I'd love to! I LOVE INTERPOL!! They are finally going back to the studio to record a new cd! :D Exciting! What are some other bands you like a lot?
Posted by xXTheCureXx on 3/23/2009 1:25 PM (GMT-04:00)
i haven't seen them yet. I was supposed to, for the Big Gig, but, they said no (it was in London on a school day) but, my parents have promised I can see them next time.... only a matter of waiting now... XD

"Sleep in a safe bed Curled and protected Protected from sight Under a safe roof Deep in your house Unaware of the changes at night" Good song :)

much longer than me! I liked Lovecats when i was 7, but i didn't know it was the Cure. I bought Greatest Hits last year, and i've liked them a lot ever since. My parents liked The Cure, but I didn't grow up around it (they liked them in the '80's only) Have you ever seen them live? C x
Posted by thecaterpillargirl on 3/21/2009 10:09 PM (GMT-04:00)
That's great. Saw them at a festival in 2006. And I saw The Cure for the first time that year. That was in London, though. They have only been in Norway two times. Strange that they haven't toured in South America. But I'm sure you'll get to see them sometime! And if they continue to ignore you, you're welcome to visit me the next time they do a concert here. :P

Posted by thecaterpillargirl on 3/21/2009 6:29 AM (GMT-04:00)
No, I haven't heard that one. I should look it up. But yeah, I love Sally's song. :) (I'm a hopeless romantic.) I don't have that kind of problems with my friends. They all listen to the same music I do. Think all of them like The Cure too in some degree. Although none of them are as fanatic about them as me. :P They mostly have Placebo, Nick Cave or Nirvana listed as their favourite band. But that's not too far off.

It's a Christmas tradition for me (for some reason. You'd have guessed it was more of a Halloween-thing, but for me it's the kind of thing I like to watch around Christmas. Perhaps it's because my birthday is the day after Halloween, so I tend to find other things to do with my time.) Anyways, I know all the lyrics and my friends are always telling me to shut up. Kind of like with Grease or something. :P

A lot of violence there too. I was raped. :P I like the movie, although it's not my favourite. Like The Nightmare Before Christas, Pulp Fiction, Confessions of a Vampire, The Crow++. :)

Hi Lolcat, I was going to send you a friend request, but you beat me to it (lol). Thank you for the request. That's cool that you are in Chile now. Are you on vacation or something? My friend Fernanda, who I met at university, is living in Panama now. She's from Argentina originally though. Anyway, I'm digressing. . . I noticed that you are an Aquarius like me. It's strange, but I have noticed that there are a lot of Aquarian Cure fans on this site. If you read the traits of an Aquarius person, then it seems to coincide with the lonely aspect of the sign. That's just my opinion though. I try not to get too involved in that stuff, but, sometimes, I find it very interesting to see if what I read about sun sign characteristics matches a certain person. I know you can't sum a person up with such things, but it's interesting nevertheless. It would have been cool if you could have come to the Las Vegas concert; hopefully, they will tour in Central or South America again, because there are a lot of Cure fans there. I think they are feeling a bit neglected by The Cure too, since they don't go there very often. By the way, your English is very good. I only wish I could speak and write Spanish as well as you do English (lol).

Bit tired but hey, I should be used to the 9-5 grind by now!
Posted by nicole_forest on 3/17/2009 3:17 AM (GMT-04:00)
Thanks for posting the thread on loneliness. Sadly, it's kind of nice to know that we are not alone in feeling alone (lol). I see that you are still in high school. Don't worry about the ignorant people that make those stupid remarks to you, because, one day, they will realize how cool and ahead of the times you were and will probably wish they would have gotten to know you better. Just keeping on being yourself. I'm 35 now, but I remember high school being really cliquey and I felt alone there much of the time. However, university was a different story. That was the best time of my life. BTW, are you going to the Las Vegas concert? We are having a meetup before the concert. So, if you are going and interested in meeting some of the people from this forum, please let me know, and I will give you more details. Take care! Nicole

and it went well! Weird thing, actually. Think he just asked the right questions and not the ones on the topics I had forgotten to read about. :P Radiohead, huh? I've never really listened to them myself, but quess that's just because I haven't noticed them much. Have fun!

I usually say that if a boyfriend ever does something stupid and wants my forgiveness, he should stand outside my window and sing Lovesong. :P And Chile? That sounds fantastic. I've always wanted to see South America! Hope you have a fantastic trip! I'm doing fine actually. Although I have an oral exam in Chemistry tomorrow with a topic I know next to nothing about! Trying to study too, but it's just so incredibly boring. And to make matters worse, I have a major hangover. :(
Posted by thecaterpillargirl on 3/15/2009 9:07 AM (GMT-04:00)
Thanks for the add. And Boys Don't Cry is one of my favs too! Had to choose which one I was going to get signed. Thought about Disintegration or KMKMKM, but the covers were a bit too dark and BDC was the first album I bought. :) Anyways, how are you doing?
