Sorry you're feeling under the weather too.... summer colds, eh? Yes, I hope I am better before work again (NYC!). Ah! You shouldn't fly sick (or without a really good decongestant). Sorry for the delayed reply, I've been away for a few days visiting some relatives. Wow that is a REALLY kind offer! I'd happily accept, but are you sure you want to part with a shirt that you got from that amazing tour? It's totally up to you! I didn't really like living in Western Australia either, although I didn't actually live in Perth - I lived about 12 hours north in a small town called Newman. I very much felt like an outsider... and yes the spiders are horrible! But I'm living in Queensland now and I like it a lot more. There's much more of a variety of people... I really want to take my son for a trip to England one day when he's a bit older, it must be amazing living in London! When your daughter comes around to help you put up a picture, tell her that on The Cure home page, on the right hand side where it says: "Hello OldFan50!" - underneath you need to click on 'Profile' and you can upload a profile picture there. Easy! :) Hope you've had a nice weekend.

I am from Hacienda Heights, which is only about 15 miles away from Fullerton. Very close! That is where I was raised and wish I still lived. I moved to Texas in 1987 and have been homesick every minute. Sounds like you have moved around a lot.

Hi there! How are you? Yes, I am currently working. Home on Tuesday. Do you know what city/base your son was at in Canada? I'm sure there are a few, but I'm curious... I can imagine you are very worried. We can only have hope and faith that your son will come home safe. I know what you mean... I don't agree with this war. It's not right. I hope that doesn't offend you. BUT I think your son has a very brave soul. I listen to my iPod alllll the time! Especially at night. I have to be careful though-- my earphones are noise-blocking so if I have to be woken up with an alarm I can't wear them or I'll not hear it! Dangerous....lol. What Cure album is your favourite?

Pull up the original post, then click the quote button. When that pulls up you will have what is written and at the end of that it will have this....{/q}. You just click right behind the }. Then I press the enter button twice which will put the cursor in the correct place to start writing. Hopefully this is what you are trying to do. Try it and if it is something different you are trying to do just let me know and i'll try again. Good luck!

You know, as much as it sucks not hearing any news...I kind of like that we don't hear so much out of Robert. Not because I don't want to hear what he has too say, but you know what I mean. So many artists today are also "celebrities" and I think sometimes they talk way too much about nothing. I think sometimes that takes away from the work. I like that he's quiet and seems to relish his privacy. But then again, if he wants to post more of his favourite songs, I'm okay with that too...haha. I just like lists. LOL!

No, I like hearing stories like that...no headache at all! hehe. My mom did things like that with me... just not with the cure, but their good memories regardless! Hopefully there will be another tour and you and your kids can get to a show again! 7 years is too long ;P So it's nice to come here and talk to other Cure fans for our fix between shows...hehe. I don't know too many people that like The Cure...besides my cousin...but I don't get to see her all that often. AND I didn't even know she liked The Cure (her fav band) until a few months ago...(yeah we didn't see each other much growing up because I lived quite far away). Well, I'm glad you're here and you're making lots of new Cure friends. Most people here are nice and friendly. Hope your having a great day!! :)
