Firstly, I love your picture of Miss Lily! I have one similar to it, I'm gonna put it up too (if you don't mind) Are you getting lots of snow? I rather like snow, but not when we get ice storms, mostly because other people are incapable of driving in it, and the power ususally goes out! I'm 99% vegetarian..but sometimes I just need barbacoa tacos from Chipotle. I've been this way for maybe 5 years. Eh, it varies. I guess it's a guilt thing. I love animals dearly and don't think that I need to eat one to survive. Weird? But, I don't bash people that do eat meat, it's everyone's choice. I've never heard of that band but I have some really old tapes too that I wonder if they will even record. Let me know how you like it! I've located the cassette thingy (that's it's formal name right?!) Now to order and then locate my tapes. Ah, then to find the time to re-record it all! I miss tapes, but cd's and MP3's are so much more convenient. Had a blast with my family, I don't see them very much so it was nice to get together and so on. I'm having a low key Sunday, doing a little cleaning, then to make an Italian feast (pasta, roasted veg. and salad) Thennnn, do nothing :) have a lovely night :) Talk to you later my dear :) XXXX

Hello my dear! This weekend I'm visiting with my sister and my little niece Isabelle. She's 1&1/2 and is a little beauty. She's hilarious and has brought so much joy and hope into my life. Not sure if I will ever have kids, but I can at least spoil her and give her all my love :) My real name is Mandie but the Lily thing I get from my favorite flower, my cat Lily and Miss Lily Munster..an exquisite dark beauty. I wanted to be her when I was a little girl :) I don't go clubbing anymore. Sadly the scene here has dried up and been replaced with jocks and bar sluts. I was tired of jocks from the university here coming to the clubs I used to go to and gawking at all the "Goth chicks" Besides, I can drink for free at home and listen to the music I want to hear ;) I'm a homebody anyways, I like being cozy :)Yeah..Johnny in makeup IS the best! Those eyes with a ton of eyeliner..MEOW!!! My other crush is Robert Downey Jr. He's weird and likeable at the same time (but RSX is always at the top of my list). Just saw the picture of Ben Turpin, that picture doesn't even look real! Hhaha, I had a good laugh:) It's amazing that his crossed eyes were his trademark! I might write to TCM and ask them to play something of his on Silent Sunday Nights:) The last name Kelly sure sounds Irish to me..I'd say it's a safe bet. Someday I'd love to get to Ireland/England. But I need money in my pocket first! Oh well, I'm not too thrilled about an 8hr plane ride..eek. There's nothing wrong with jeans by the way, I wear them all the time too! I'm a 10/12 too and it's damn hard to find a pair that fit well :) You're right..Robert just doesn't fit into the Edwardian era..what would he do with his hair?! You like Johnny too eh? He is smoking hot in "Sweeney Todd". He reminds me so much of Dave Vanian from "The Damned" in that movie. Oh to see him in eyeliner...*sigh*! I'm also partial to "Sleepy Hollow" and "Cry Baby". First, let me say that I am very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. That has to be an unimaginable pain. I'm very close with my mom and just the thought of that makes me sick. My heart goes out to you..Your mom is there with you everyday, every time you watch "Mary Poppins" and every time you remember her and read those letters. They are always around us and will let us know in any way they can. I believe there is no end, just a crossing to a greater existence than this. On a lighter note...Jack Lemmon is hysterical in general, and in drag with that makeup kills me! Those legs! haha! No worries about creeping me out, that dress makes me feel beautiful and I got it from a pinup clothing company for girls who are shaped like girls!!! I thought "wow, clothes for girls who look like me" Not a size 0!! "Age of Innocence" is really just for looks (costumes, elegant homes, etc) Winona Ryder is in it and is rubbish. Good story, just dreadful casting! DDL is in most of it, so you may not like it haha! Don't know why I'm drawn to that type of opulence..my ancestors were poor German and Irish immigrants, they never had anything like that, nor do I! I love Buster Keaton too, he was a real daredevil. I love that he and Harold Lloyd did their own stunts. Have you ever seen the Lloyd movie "Safety Last"? It is hilarious! I've never heard of Ben Turpin :O I will look him up. I've always thought that Marilyn and Vivien were tragic beauties. Both were so beautiful and talented, but that's all people saw. Marilyn typecast as a bimbo, and Vivien was perpetually "Scarlett" or Mrs. Olivier. I bet Hollyweird is a lonely place for lost souls. Sad really. I feel like I'm talking to myself :) We should be writing to each other on stationary, though it would take a week to get to you! I absolutely love the Edwardian/Victorian eras of clothing, jewelry and society too. Women were gracious and elegant. Men were dapper and dashing! A great movie for that era is "The Age of Innocence" Beautiful! I share a birthday with Queen Victoria so I've always had a curiosity about her and that time period. I'm living in the wrong century! "Some Like It Hot" is one of my favorite movies. It's hilarious! I've always had a fondness for Marilyn. She's beautiful, alluring and I hate the way Hollywood made her out to be..dumb and ditzy. There was so much more to her than that. My favorite movie of her's is "Niagara". The dress in my profile pic right now is the same as the pink dress she wore in the film. Audrey was so stylish and elegant and sadly that's completely missing today. I also like Norma Shearer, Greta Garbo and Vivien Leigh. As far as male actors go I love Harold Lloyd (silent actor) Clark Gable, and Marlon Brando. "Mary Poppins" reminds me of being a girl, happier days and no worries:) I love "Gone With The Wind", "It Happened One Night",and "Waterloo Bridge" and soo many others . yes, it is a bit like a pen pal (never had one) Yay! So what kind of old films do you like? I watch TCM (Turner Classic Movies)all the time, particularly movies from the 30's & 40's. I'm also a big silent movie nerd :) Clothes were so pretty back then and things were much simpler:) You're right, 4:13 Dream has been the topic lately. Do you have any favorites from it? I'm glad to hear UPS did the right thing! I was gonna boycott them if they hadn't! Eh, who wants a Ferrari anyways?! I'm doing better a little more every month. It's just a slow process for some people. I'm fortunate to have 2 very kind and helpful doctor's helping me through this. I just never thought this could happen to someone. Weird! Oh, I am soo sorry :( Did you go after UPS or the driver? Was he drunk or anything? It's weird how sometimes we take simple things for granted like walking. I've had vestibular neuritis since last April resulting from a very bad cold. It left me insanely dizzy, off balance, migraines and vertigo attacks. Wikipedia has a page dedicated to it. The first few months were so bad I could hardly walk. It was like being drunk and everything spinning, but not fun at all. I'm doing much better now and really appreciate just being able to walk and not want to puke, but when the vertigo comes, oohh shit, the world is spinning! Big hugs to you sweetie! XXXX

Well, right now I work in a very busy pharmacy. I'm the lead tech (basically an assistant pharmacist)The job is very fast paced and you have to always be thinking clearly so you don't fuck up someone's prescription! Some of the people there don't take the job seriously and that makes my job harder. Egh! I'm planning to go into MRI's and ultrasounds but need to get my ass in gear and get to school! I just work with annoying, clueless people. One of them is always asking me to buy candles, jewelry, "pure romance" products, etc. I can't afford extras right now and I've told her no many times but she just won't get the hint! I work in healthcare and there are a lot of patients to care for, it's a conflict of interest and she doesn't get it. She's spamming me!!! What's next? Golf clubs? hahah! I agree with you, 99.9% are morons with a few exceptions. I have however reaped some good boyfriend karma, I have landed a total sweetheart. Sorry I couldn't resist making a rubbish pun(!), and it's good that she was well looked after. Often rescue cats have been mistreated or neglected to a point where they turn feral so it can be hard/nigh on impossible in some cases to help them adapt to human company.
