I'm trapped inside my head/
Plugged into this machine/
I'd be better off dead/
Elation turned to dust/
At the kiss from a star/
When nothing kept me going/
After the moment at the side.
Safety is a dream/
And honuour is dead/
Aiming for the top/
From the bottom of my heart/
I'm so lost in the sky/
That I can't find the exit from here.
Nothing keeps me sane/
And nothing keeps me dry/
Something is missing/
It's around me but away/
From here I strive/
From here on I struggle/
But you can't take it for granted/
When you don't know what it is.
