Happy Thanksgiving! I didn't even know this part of thecure.com still worked until I saw on my email that you left a note here. I'm in charge of roasting the 23# T.G. turkey this year. It's 10:32 and it's in the oven and smells divine. I haven't roasted a turkey in 12 years! My mother doesn't even think I know how to cook. She's called over dozens of times to give me pathetic advice as would be given a child. :-P HOWEVER, she was in charge of telling who to get what. She just now called me a few minutes ago to ask if I bought the potatoes. No. I wasn't supposed to. I'm turkey, stuffing, gravy. Well, nobody got the potatoes :-D This should be interesting. I don't think the senile member of the family should be in charge of the list next year. Now, she's just called me to report my brother had a 5# bag and is bringing ME the bag to peel and boil. HA! They are all in for a shock. I make THE WORST mashed potatoes on the planet. Lumpy AND waterlogged. They'll see. I sure won't be given the potatoes next year.
