ty

for being nice... : ) I swore I'd never go online whilst drinking, and once my husband was asleep, I on purpose put on Joel Schumacher's The Phantom Of The Opera on our big tv, went to netflix for one of their instant movies and told myself, "The Cure's site! I swear I'll just read, I won't respond.." then I saw it was you, and, sigh, thanks for being gracious! "Precious getting bombed bombed bombed..." -B52's Party Out of Bounds.. So you make up an imaginary boyfriend in times like that to save you from waking up feeling like a wretch? maybe I should try that..

I'm sorry

Some drunken weirdo got a hold of my username. I know that that movie and story means a lot to you, and I'm sorry for being so stupid. Could you forgive me?? I was being completely inappropriate.

snow and schmucks

That sounds delightful! Open windows on snowy days whilst reading! We tried to find the snow a couple weeks ago in Julian, Ca. but no such luck but we got to eat at a fairly decent, tho overpriced, restaurant and chat with the guy who sells books down the street. He had a mild joking manner, telling us which rooms held which types books, and that to listen carefully, as there will be a quiz later! (Turns out he's a retired teacher). Very pleasant older gentleman. Looks like we're going to have to try Big Bear (I promised the kids they'd see snow this year). Oh and when you said on your thread how you saw the Meet the Schmucks was it? ? I smiled because a few years back a friend had sent me one of those personaliz-able bday cards, where you type your name in a wee box and it makes the ecard personal. Well, the kids and I tried out lots of different words and at one point we were chuckling at the animated, streaming over and over across the screen: "Happy Birthday Schmuck!" and as my kids aren't unexposed to language..we tried "a--hole!", "f---er!", etc. lol: ) I hadn't thought of that time in, well since the day..someone told me that the word "schmuck" is a bad word to the Jewish people, so I don't go spreading it around--but! you used it first! : ) Hope you're having a good day!

thank you

A happy new year to you too, Suzanne!! I'm reading "Life" by Keith Richards these days and parts of it are truly hysterical-I've decided to believe (for the most part) what he says and it is truly fun as a result..(he bears a striking resemblance to my mother in mannerisms, lingo etc..lol) she's been a Stones fan for ages...how's your book? Do you recommend it?
