like you say RS can attract a certain kind of "intense" fan (that's me tip-toeing around the crazy word)! I'd like to think that if he posted here or if I met him in the flesh I'd be cool enough not to let the first words out of my mouth be "I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH" but who knows how much I would fawn over him if the opportunity presented itself! Like I say I'd like to think I could control myself and have the semblance of a decent conversation... and I'd be suspicious of anyone purporting to be MP - I'm sure she's got better things to do! I can see how it can be hard to bite your tongue but I'd always be careful, if this is someone's only refuge I wouldn't want to be responsible (even in part) for pushing them over the edge...

I just remembered that I owe you a punch in the nose for saying that my old poems were crap. I did agree with you but thats not the point. Wouldn't it be fun if wiserube posted another series? I take it that got nipped in the bud by the powers that be pretty sharpish? I don't understand why anyone would do that - pretty pathetic really... If there's one sure way to p-off Mr Smith I imagine it would be to impersonate his wife (or maybe suggest she top herself - no?) I just looked at Borders Books and it's half price right now. I may have to go get it this week rather than waiting to get my Nook. It does look like an excellent book. I wonder when the movie will come out. :-/

I needed a mike for something a while back. I shut off the fridge, and everything else that made a noise. I waited until the wee hours and tried to record off the Powerbook's internal mike. There is a weird clickity-click that the computer, itself, generates that comes out on the recording. I tried taking the click out. It was not giving me what I wanted. I have wanted to make sounds (like human rhythms). Maybe later.

I use to use a Mark of The Unicorn program and HATED it, because it would crash more than not. When I got my Powerbook, it came loaded with GarageBand and I reluctantly started using that (reluctantly because I had already learned the previous program that would not work on the new OS). From the time I hooked up to GarageBand it's been dreamy. It NEVER crashes. I love it. I forget which version I'm using nowadays. Whatever version it's ever been, it's worked great. I use to want to get Logic, but honestly, I don't feel like I absolutely need it. Until I do, I'm sticking with GarageBand.
