But they beat St Kilda today by 2....YAY!!!!! Ended their dream run AND in the top 8 by the skin of their teeth. I was nearly having a heart attack towards the end. Did you see it? Riewoldt marked it and had to kick after the siren. Could have gone the other way. ANd what a hammering the Pies gave poor old Richmond!

Goodnight altr2elise. Delaney's party today turned out better than expected! I think I had as much fun as the kids did. The adults, as well as the kids, were able to play on all the inflatables. I don't think I've quite had my fill of cake yet, there's more waiting in the fridge. :) The kids were exhausted after the party which I think is a great indicator of success. Goodnight altr2elise. We have my youngest daughter's, Delaney, 5th birthday party tomorrow. She's so excited! We're going to one of those places where there are tons of gigantic inflatable toys for the kids (and adults!) to play on. We ended up getting her a Nintendo DS, we may never see her again! Goodnight altr2elise. I hope you're doing well. This site has had such problems tonight. I was finally able to get back on just a bit ago, so I'm starting my goodnights very late. Anyway, the weather here has foiled my plans to mow the lawn the for the last two evenings, so I have that to look forward to tomorrow. lol It was a fairly quite evening, the family veged in front of the tv. Goodnight altr2elise. I hope you had a good weekend. It was a great father's day and as I suspected, the kids had me up way too early. We had the in-laws over and grilled out. Had to settle for hamburgers though, too many people for steaks. I ended up getting the golf clubs I wanted as well. :) Well, it's back to the grind tomorrow. This weekend went by so fast! Goodnight altr2elise. Well it's been two days and I thought it was going to be three. My ISP has flaked out on me and I hope I'm able to get my goodnights out to everyone before it happens again! So, long story short, I went to get online the other night and to my surprise couldn't get connected, and after what seems like forever, I was able to finally connect again a bit ago. I hope it lasts. So lets see, not much has happened here; just the usual work and then come home to do yard work. I'm not complaining though, for the most part, I like getting out in the yard. Father's day is rapidly approaching and I'm hoping for a starter set of golf clubs. It's been years since I've went golfing and I'm kinda wanting to get out on the course again. I think golfing is a rite of passage for getting older. :) Anyway, if I disappear again, you'll know why now at least. Goodnight altr2elise. The concert was amazing. Coldplay did nearly every song off the Viva la Vida cd as well as many of the older favorites. Snow Patrol did an excellent job as well. There was another opening band, the Howling Bells, but I only heard a little of the last song they did, so I couldn't tell you anything about them. Hope you had a great weekend!! Until tomorrow...

Goodnight altr2elise. I had grand plans of spending lots of time in the threads this evening, but I came home from work and fell asleep! Must have needed the rest I guess, it's been a long week here. I suppose I'll be fresh for the Coldplay/Snow Patrol concert tomorrow night. :) I caught Coldplay on Palladia the other day, I hope they put on as good a show here. Hi Jo (I hope you don't mind me calling you by your first name), I didn't realize until today that you were the person who did the beautiful watercolor painting for the 30th Anniversary Book. It is so beautiful. You are very talented. I remember that robert's hairspray, Rachybee, and I were looking at it when it first came out; we were oohing and awwing over it. We sometimes chat online, which is always fun. They are really nice people, as are 98 percent of Cure fans (lol). I signed up for Flickr and left a comment on your picture today. I am still trying to figure the whole Flickr thing out, since I have used Photobucket before. Is there a faster way to upload photos? I have been thinking of putting my photos on an external site so that, if something should ever happen (I pray not), I will have my photos backed up where I can retrieve them. I wanted to add you as a contact, but I don't know how. Rev. Heron and caterpillargirl2 added me, and I was able to figure out from the e-mail how to add them back, but I'm still a newbie to it all. Yep, I boring everyone with my Cure concert excitement and my excitement at meeting my fellow Cure fan friends (lol), maybe not enough. Ha, ha.

I didn't realize that Rev. Heron had already scanned my work until I saw your comment on my page. I'm actually kind of embarrassed to have it up there. I blushed when I saw it. I didn't realize that anyone would be able to see or read my messy handwriting (lol), oh no! Thank you for the nice compliment though. Yes, the concert is getting closer. I am so excited. This will be my third Cure concert, God willing, and they say the third is the charm. The first two concerts were amazing for me though. My first concert ever was The Cure in London. I'm sure being a major Cure fan you can only imagine how excited I was to be seeing them in their home country as my first concert. I don't know how many people (non-Cure fans) I bored with that story (ha,ha). Have a nice day, Nicole
