Hey there J.R. Thank you for dropping by my page and saying hello! I hope you're having a great spring. All is well here; I'm super busy with work but I don't mind because I'm having fun with it. I haven't been to a show in a while because nobody interesting seems to be touring this spring, but hopefully there will be some good shows coming to town soon. It's weird to think it's been a year since the Pearl concert. That was such a good time. I don't hang out here or post on the forum any more at all. Hey JR! I hope you're having a great weekend! Any more BBQs? That's hilarious that you were able to add a new dish to the 'burnt cuisine' menu! :) And your kids are both good chefs, then? That's groovy. I take after my Mum...can't cook anything to save my life. Actually that's not true, my Mum actually has a bunch of dishes she can make well, whereas I'm just hopeless. I've burned water in the past, which is nigh impossible. :)
Life is the same old same old here. I have to work today but tomorrow I'll be visiting my family, if all goes according to plan. Have a wonderful Saturday!

Thank you, thats just a few pictures like of London i liked...my brother, hes my such a cool guy but an absolute bum! i think its his rock'n'rolling way of thinking but hes such such a lazy so-n-so! Lol. I love the sleepy Rusty picture, he looks like his has such a personality (say that to anyone who doesn't have a dog and they really look at you like your nuts!). i really want to live somewhere near a forest/woods when i'm older and have about 3 huskies that i can walk about in there everyday...think its because i grew up in the city, any piece of nature i see i love! (one day i'll get it, only 26, still have time!). How's the summer going? You must be melting from the heat! Its cooled down alot here but WOW it was way too hot! xxx

H! I'm glad to hear from you. It sounds as though you're having much better weather in Vegas than we are out here. You're very lucky. :) Any more BBQs, complete with burnt cuisine? :)
I know what you mean about thunderstorms. My cat (who passed away this winter) was also very unsettled by them. He was normally very affectionate and stayed with me most of the time when I was home, but during thunderstorms he became even more of my shadow. He wouldn't let me out of his sight and was always very freaked out, the poor thing. I guess the noise can be very scary for a little cat or dog to handle.

JRR! How are you? I have an email that is half-finished to send to you...it has been so crazy with me for the past month. I'm sorry I've lost touch, but I'm back now. :) I hope you're having a wonderful week and enjoying your summer. We've been having HUGE violent rainstorms here; thunder and lightning and the whole nine yards. At least we don't have to worry about a lack of water this year; there's always a bright side. I was trying to find this old book my daughter had. It was an old children's book about playing fair. There was some really funny stuff written in there about cheating (at games) but sounded much more like it was written by a jilted woman. If I ever find it, I'll have to show you. You might get a kick out of that one too!

Hi! I think most people have been away from the forum because of the summer holidays and having to take care of kids and stuff, which so unfair, them stealing people's fun-time. Sounds like you had a blast! This will make you laugh, we lost Maurice for 12hrs! Our garden is connection to 4 others and he usually goes in them every so often but this time he was AWOL and we were calling him, knocking on doors, climbing into garden and over fences, but couldn't find him! We called the police, who understandably couldn't do a thing but said if anyone bought him in they would contact us (his collar comes off his neck sometimes, so we were worried about that), then at about 11.30pm he walked in, cocky as anything, covered in dirt and smelling terrible! of course we all hugged him and fed him various bad foods, but we still don't know where he went! It might have been the hound in him that got a scent and went looking for hours, but whatever it was, hes being spoiled at the moment and hes loving it! How are your little fellas? i bet they loved the bbq food and all the attention! Give them all a big hug from me...also, maurice's diet has gone to the dogs! xxxxx

Goodnight JR. Delaney's party today turned out better than expected! I think I had as much fun as the kids did. The adults, as well as the kids, were able to play on all the inflatables. I don't think I've quite had my fill of cake yet, there's more waiting in the fridge. :) The kids were exhausted after the party which I think is a great indicator of success. We're going to one of those places where there are tons of gigantic inflatable toys for the kids (and adults!) to play on. We ended up getting her a Nintendo DS, we may never see her again! I was finally able to get back on just a bit ago, so I'm starting my goodnights very late. Anyway, the weather here has foiled my plans to mow the lawn the for the last two evenings, so I have that to look forward to tomorrow. lol It was a fairly quite evening, the family veged in front of the tv. Goodnight JR. Thanks so much for the father's day wishes. I hope you're weekend was a great one. It was a great father's day and as I suspected, the kids had me up way too early. We had the in-laws over and grilled out. Had to settle for hamburgers though, too many people for steaks. I did grill out a steak the night before so I guess I can't complain. :) I ended up getting the golf clubs I wanted, now I have to see if I can still hit a golf ball. :) Well, it's back to the grind tomorrow. Goodnight JR. Well it's been two days and I thought it was going to be three. My ISP has flaked out on me and I hope I'm able to get my goodnights out to everyone before it happens again! So, long story short, I went to get online the other night and to my surprise couldn't get connected, and after what seems like forever, I was able to finally connect again about 20 minutes ago. I hope it lasts. So lets see, not much has happened here; just the usual work and then come home to do yard work. I'm not complaining though, for the most part, I like getting out in the yard. Father's day is rapidly approaching and I'm hoping for a starter set of golf clubs. It's been years since I've went golfing and I'm kinda wanting to get out on the course again. I think golfing is a rite of passage for getting older. :) Anyway, thanks so much for your nice comments while I was away, the kids have been kissed goodnight and I will definitely check out dreamland radio. :) If I disappear again, you'll know why now at least. Goodnight JR. The concert was amazing. Coldplay did nearly every song off the Viva la Vida cd as well as many of the older favorites. Snow Patrol did an excellent job as well. There was another opening band, the Howling Bells, but I only heard a little of the last song they did, so I couldn't tell you anything about them. Thanks for your nice comments. Goodnight JR. I had grand plans of spending lots of time in the threads this evening, but I came home from work and fell asleep! Must have needed the rest I guess, it's been a long week here. I suppose I'll be fresh for the Coldplay/Snow Patrol concert tomorrow night. :) I caught Coldplay on Palladia the other day, I hope they put on as good a show here.
