Auntie Helen: You wrote on my page back in February and I just discovered it!!!! I used to teach pre-k and kindergarten until I became a stay at home mom. Now, with the divorce going on, I will be going back to school for paralegal work--here in the great state of Illinois, they have laid off more than 50000 teachers, so I can't see going back into education as a means of supporting myself and my son. I did, however, LOVE teaching--especially those kids that no one else knows what to do with!!!!! Now that I'm learning more about how to use this webpage, I will be able to communicate better with you and all the other lovely CURE lovers out there!!!

Hello Auntie Helen, how are you? I got my wisdom teeth removed two days ago and my lovely mother bought me a Cure cd when I was in surgery (I asked her if she would get me Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me). After waking up and waiting around a bit, my mum came in and we went into the waiting room and we were doing charades in the waiting room, haha but failing that I wrote to her using her phone. Then she gave me the deluxe edition go KMKMKM and I listened to it when I got home, I really like 'One More Time' It's such a lovely song. Since then I've been relaxing, sleeping, listening to The Cure, looking up Cure interviews today :) and trying to eat something, which is quite hard. I'm not in to much pain so hopefully I can go back to school on Monday. I went to my dad's place today and he gave me a present, it was lovely (I had told him a few agos that all I wanted when I got my wisdom teeth removed was an image of a kitten with a bandage around it's head. No matter how hard we looked even online we couldn't find this) I opened the present and there was a toy cat with a bandage around it's head and a few other cat things (although they were a little child-ish, he even said so) it was so sweet and kind of him. What have you been up to? What have you been up to today?

Yep I think I might create a thread in the music one :) Thanks. Have a great weekend. 1984 is very good, yeah they use nu-speak and it's similiar to political corectness. I have been wanting to read A Clockwork Orange for quite a long time. Films that make you think are my favourite, I also watch some cult films or strange movies and foreign movies too. You will probably enjoy RFAD although enjoy isn't the right word, it is shot magnificantly and you are pulled into their downfall the film does affect you. Tell me what you think after you see it. Speaking of things that are strange Bjork's All Is Full Of Love is on tv on Rage right now. I would love to learn Latin. I'm pretty good at Indonesian although I'm not fluent and I can't really practice it often, and there aren't many Indonesian films etc. They are lovely :) Yes, I'm thinking about studying Psychology or language or maybe something else. I have to work out what I want to do soon though. I might probably move to Brisbane (although living in a big city isn't exactly what I want to do, but I love certain parts of Brissy, and there are some brilliant universities there especially if I want to study language). Yeah. I would love to travel, to Europe to parts of Asia, oh so many places. I think experiencing all the cultures would be very interesting. Oh my kitty is asleep on the floor he looks so cute hehe -sorry-. Brisbane is roughly 1700 km from Cairns which is a bit over twenty two hours. Although Townsville which is much closer has quite a few bands and festivals that Cairns doesn't get, Townsville is about four hours away. In Cairns we do have some bands and artist come up but not usually international artists and if so not many. That's so cool that you are so close to London. Australia is quite large :) We went to a basketball match yesterday, Cairns versus Sydney, my dad and I went for Sydney and they won. It was good. We are babysitting a family friend at the moment and it is raining right now. I actually am planing on going into town and do some present shopping for one of my closest friends it's her birthday on Friday but I'm getting all four of my Wisdom teeth removed on Thursday. Just relaxing nothing too special this weekend. Yep. Bye for now :)

I saw you've been discussing lyrics that you find powerful/get stuck in your head with EGM - I think that would make a great topic on the forum! Okay, yes sometimes Spell check makes me lazy too :) Nu-speak? (Have you read 1984?) Have fun, it sure is an interesting film. Whats one of your favourite movies? Well since Grade 4 in Primary School (since I was eight) I've learnt Indonesian. It was compulsory throughout primary school then in Grade Eight at high school it was compulsory that you study a semester of Indonesian or German. I stuck with Indonesian and have done it every year. I would love to learn Japanese but it actually isn't offered at our school although I think it might have been through Virtual Schooling. The languages you can study at our school is Indonesian, German and French (Grade 11-12). We do writting as the Indonesian alphabet is the same as English (luckily). I hope she enjoys learning Cantonese. I haven't ever done Virtual Schooling before but it's just like normal classes except with a little more freedom and responsibility :) I think Distance Education is a great system especially for those in rural areas. Luckily for me, If I ever have any issues with the Indonesian work I can go speak to my two favourite language teachers at my school (A husband and wife who speak 5 or more languages each) I have had them both before they are great teachers, last year I had both of them. And my french teacher is the wife, she is one of the nicest teachers in the school. I don't really live in a small town but it's not a major city either. I live in Cairns which is quite a touristy city as many people come overseas to see The Great Barrier Reef or our lovely rainforests. It is quite a relaxed place with many beaches yet we also have three large shopping centres and three movie theatres. It's quite a nice place to live and to grow up in but there is only one university in Cairns, and not too many job opportunties so most of my friends will be leaving Cairns when the year ends. Also, another down-side of living is Cairns is that hardly any bands etc come and perform instead they go to bigger cities like Brisbane. I love spring time and winter (winter in Australia, is quite different I imagine). Have fun gardening :) I hope you have a fantastic time with your friend, it sounds like a great weekend. It's okay that you haven't mentioned The Cure, neither have I... Do you really think so? There are so many lyrics that get stuck in my head ^_^ What are some Cure lyrics that you find meaningful or always pop up? ...nothing was done about it...it went on for weeks...hehehe some people actually thought it was her, as if!...what I learned here is that many Cure fans are insane!...someone would do that as a joke to get over on people or to liven up their boring and dead life.....I try not to be mean but it seems my tolerance runs out easy here, and some people are just so dumb....I love it here, the openness, no overbearing mods, you can post swear words if you want...some of the other sites are so disgusting in their fawning over Robert they don't tolerate any disruption to their perfect Cure World.....egads! it is so much better here, probably one of the few sites like it in the world for an established band....

Glad you're enjoying school... I've no idea what "virtual schooling" is... please tell... Whatever it is, it makes me feel like a dinosaur! :D It's no problem really and I'm sorry for not replying earlier, and it's been good speaking to EGM, it's interesting to see other Cure fans views and opinions. Requiem for a dream is a very good film yet it is quite disturbing and sad as it is about Herion addiction and the struggle with addiction in general. How are you Auntie Helen? Well in Australia we have a system called Distance Education and for people who live in rural areas or without a school near by they are taught through distance education via telephones, radio communication or other forms of communication (there is a Distance Education office in my city). Now there are a few subjects at my school which aren't available at school yet you can do them through 'Virtual Schooling', Indonesian has become one of these subjects. So every Thursday during my virtual schooling study period two boys and myself sit in a room with a special phone and a few computers. We type in a number and call the distance education office and are put on to an indonesian teacher, there is also another girl from a rural town that calls in aswell. We have work sheets and stuff to complete and on the phone we normally practice our speaking and some activities from the booklets. I hope that made sense.... This is the first year I have done virtual schooling but the best thing is that we did this work last year because we were in a 11/12 class and did the grade 12 work and when it came to test time we were just tested at a lower level :) What have you been up to lately?

...yes I am back! Settling in well...it is cold today...Summer in Tasmania is a bit different to Queensland Summer...but at least we avoided getting blown away by the cyclone which hit my old home town a couple of weeks back. I was very worried for my parents and friends but everyone came through it ok. It is good to be back online. How are you?

...yes there was a few that got the chop...Toadie and DJ in one of his incarnations...but it was over personal attacks...I know enough when to shut my cake hole....I would never attack Keith, or Robert or Simon or so forth personally...Robert believes in an open forum, which is a blessing...so many forums are slave forums, worshipping the Cure it makes you sick...that is why this one is the best...not a bunch of Robert-clones and slaves...we can speak our mind here....this is a good place...

...I've done much worse...I used to pick fights with Eden Gallup...I am partially the reason the forum was closed down...only partially...I just worked up Eden and Keith Uddin and they kind of went wild...it took very little effort, just a little wood on the fire....and they used to have devoted slaves here on the Forum.... ...I've also posted pics of that Miley BJ pic, some Gay pics and said it was Iggy's honeymoon....so much...that is why Levs is so hard on me...and why she screams about the poor children and how they must be protected, as if they are going to see something here that they are not going to see worse somewhere else on the net.... ....If I was going to be banned it would have been awhile ago,and for good reason!... it is virtually impossible to be banned here...and if they did I would just pick another name, they don't ban ISP addresses....granted it would have to be creative, because Keith, Simon, Eden and probably Robert know who I am, I've pulled some stinkers over the years....but that is my charm.... lots of love, ...Bas....

I also have seen Black Swan, I watched it with an old friend of mine two weeks ago and I enjoyed although I believe Darren Arfonsky's masterpiece is still Requiem For A Dream. I hope you get your housework done as well. I cleaned up my room and I found my Discman and it works :D Im going to bring it to school on Monday and listen to Disintegration repeatedly ^_^ Schools pretty good actually,we are studying Macbeth in English it's okay and I sorted out my virtual schooling. We had free dress day on Friday and I wore the Friday Im In Love shirt you can get from Threadless and throughout the whole day everyone was asking what my shirt meant I explained it was song lyrics and told them the lyrics and played my friends Friday Im In Love and a few of them remebered the song one of my friends said "Hey I know this song it's really old" :P A few of my friends actually knew the song and thought it was cute. One of my guy friends made up his own lyrics to the shirt our maths teacher was standing next to him and as they were inappropriate he said and Monday you have detention :) I'm glad you parents had good taste in music and it influenced your own taste. I find a Cure book one day :)I like both albums a lot but I think my favourites are still Disintegration then Wish and Seventeen Seconds, Faith and Pornography tied for third :)I might try WMS one day after I get Show or Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me :)

I am very good, thank you for asking. How are you Auntie Helen? I've just started my final year of High School. Wish has become my second favourite album by The Cure just beating Faith, Pornography and Seventeen Seconds (I can't choose which comes next) I am sure of one thing, this is that Disintegration will always have a special place in my heart. I'm glad to hear Im not the only one. Some of the tracks on Wish are amazing, my favourites are Apart, A Letter To Elise, From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea, Trust, Friday Im In Love, To Wish Impossible Things and Doing The Unstuck. At first my mum was surprised but I think now it's just part of life. When at my Mum's I sometimes play their hit/popular songs on my iPod dock and that's a lot of fun but I don't play their darker songs (which I prefer). It's nice that they know that I adore The Cure and that they are happy giving me Cure presents for my birthday and Christmas, I really appreciate it.I'm glad that neither of my parent's are against their music or think that it's strange. But they aren't big fans or anything. So it's mainly a personal interest, although my brother likes quite a few Cure songs :) and a friend of mine is getting rather acquianted with The Cure. But I'm not quite sure what my parents think of my interest with The Cure. I hope their will always be hard copies of music and literature and movies. I've just finished reading The Picture Of Dorian Gray, I enjoyed it. Yes I do agree with you, and it's fun searching for them :) I still haven't managed to find a book about The Cure but from reviews there are two that seem would be excellent reads. Their is a book titled Ten Imaginary Years which Robert helped write. It is about their first ten years as 'The Cure' and all Cure fans recommened it, it's supposedly the best and has lots of photos of them when they were young and a lot of interesting information and is all true unlike some of the books. Another one which seems to be quite good is Never Enough by Jeff Apter it is the most recent book and might be easier to find, it covers a greater span of The Cure's history and is also very accurate and enjoyable. Actually, I already have :) I bought The Head On The Door last weekend, I like it very much and my favourites are Sinking, A Night Like This, Push- The instrumental at the begining is magnificant, Close To Me and Six Different Ways. It's a great album but I prefer their darker sound. I've just recently been listening to some songs from Bloodflowers and I really really like it. My favourites that I have heard so far are The Last Day Of Summer, Maybe Someday, Theres Is No If and the title track. Im thinking of possibly buying Bloodflowers next. :) I'm also looking for some Cure merchandise at the moment, I really would like a shirt but there are so many out there to choose from and I also would like a poster or post card. Im sure I'll work something out. :) What have you been up to lately?

How are you Auntie Helen, I had an amazing trip but Im so glad to be home. I listened to a lot of The Cure when travelling mainly the albums Faith and Paris. I listened to the live version of Close To Me a lot because before we left my brother and I were listening to it and singing along and he said that he really likes the live version. Pornography and Wish are mazing :) I listened to Pornography first and yes it is quite a dark album but it's also brilliant :) and Wish well I've been listening to it on repeat and I like every single track on it (Im not too fond of Wendy Time) an album which is a perfect mixture of the happy fun bright Cure like Friday Im In Love and High and the darker, meaningful tracks like Apart, Trust, To Wish Impossible things and a combination of the two like A Letter To Elise or Doing The Unstuck ( im not too sure about this songs meaning). I absolutely love it. It is almost my favourite Cure album but Disintegration is better, Disintegration is beautiful. So Im enjoying both albums a lot :). I played Wish for my brother and he liked it but he didn't like some of the darker tracks and wanted to skip to Friday Im In Love but he seemed to like A Letter To Elise the first thing he said was this sounds like Pictures Of You. Haha :) It's actually my mums but I didn't even know she had it. Last year I was talking to my dad about the record player or something and I pointed at this wooden box and I said isn't that a record player and he said no, it's full of cassettes. So we had a look through the tapes to see what was there a lot of 80s stuff like Prince but then on a blank tape the words The Cure was written on it. I said something about it being Mum's because she told me she used to love The Cure not too long before. I played it and I recognised a song and thought it was the album Boys Dont Cry I was close it was Three Imaginary Boys. We have three radios, one is mine :) which play tapes we used to listen to some when I was younger. Our old car had a tape player so we used to listen to cassettes a lot but I dont think I have one. We also have a record player which you can connect to the computer and convert the music into MP3's and a normal old record player but both are broken at the moment. I used to have a discman when other people had MP3 players I wished it still worked :/ We also have video players but I think only one works. Hmm I like older formats of Music. Im not too fond of MP3s or Ebooks I like having hard copies of things. I have no vinyl myself but one day :). What have you been up to lately? One last question have you read any books about The Cure? Are there any you like/dislike?

Hey Auntie Helen How are you? What have you been up to?, Im having a great time in America, I had a lovely time in San Fran but we didn't see the fireworks everyone was too tired to go out and watch them after the long flights. What did you do for NYE? I did a lot in San Francisco including walking along Fishermans Wharf, walking the Golden Gate Bridge and a lot of other stuff :) I went to Amobea records in San Francisco but I only had five minutes and I bought Pornography and Wish for five dollars each. I haven't had a chance to listen to them though which is a real shame and I wont be able to for about 12 days. I really want to find some vinyl when Im here though. I've just been to LA and all the theme parks including Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm and Universial they were all really fun :) My brother is fourteen and the other day I was playing him the title track from Disintegration and he actually likes it now :) Which is quite awesome as it's one of my favourites. It's possible that he might get into their darker stuff later. He really likes the Paris version of Close To Me we were singing along to it just before I left for the airport. Yeah thats true it's such a shame though because there are many great 'old' artists. But a lot of them are into the current top 40 stuff that I hardly listen to or even know of sometimes. But a lot of them haven't heard of them at all :/ I bought a radiohead badge and someone asked me whos that? are they big? hehe. It's similiar with my movie or novel taste as well, Im reading The Picture Of Dorian Gray right now but no one I know have heard of it. I completly agree with you about the timeless quality of their music. Disintegration for me is as relevant as ever :) I have been listening to Faith especially The Funeral Party, The Drowning Man a lot and I really like the paris album. Bye for now :)

...the little island at the bottom of Australia...that's where we are moving to. Yes, it's quite far from where we are now. Unearthed is a competition for unsigned bands/ musicians. Well I'll sign off now - just in case I don't get to speak with you before the big day, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! Enjoy all the lovely sounds that Santa brings you!! :) In Australia when you turn 17 and after completing a log book of 100 supervised hours of driving you can apply to do your driving test, if you pass you get your p1 which you have for a year then to move to your p2s you need to complete a hazard perception test, then after being on your p2s for two years you can go on to your open license. Its a shame that none of your friends at school liked the same music as you but it's good that your sister did. I make mix cds sometimes and play them in the car all the time so my brother ends up liking the songs, he likes a few songs by Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Cure. I play him quite a bit of Cure, he likes their 'happy' music and hit songs, Close To Me and Friday Im In Love is his favourites but he has a problem with Disintegration for some reason oh well maybe he'll understand/enjoy it when he's my age. Thanks Auntie Helen another thing is that people my age call songs that were released a year or so ago 'old' so listening to some strange 80s band is very very very old and weird but that's okay. I love concerts and festivals but there aren't many where I live and when international acts come to Australia it's always the capital cities :/ Good luck for convincing him to see The Cure it could work, are you going to Bestival? :)I used to be into all that pop punk stuff like Blink 182, FOB, Good Charlotte etc then I got into Alternative Rock and I prefer it a lot more ^_^ I have a guy friend who loves Metallica and The Smashing Pumpkins he played me some Metallica it was okay (not my thing I would prefer to listen to Robert Smith sing one of his brooding masterpieces)still Nothing Else Matters is alright but some of their stuff is a bit heavy for me that's why I like alternative rock, not only is the music amazing the lyrics are meaningful and beautiful and different. ^_^ Ohh Reading Festival, is supposed to be amazing. :)Oh that's such a shame some great alternative rock acts play at reading :( Merry Christmas Auntie Helen I hope you have a lovely Christmas and enjoy the holidays. Oh that makes a lot of sense, yes I often also do something else than my work in spares hehe it’s too easy to get distracted being in the radio room. Yeah we do a written test about general rules, signs and giving way it’s multiple choice and there is 30 questions and you can take it when you turn 16. Does that mean that when you turn a certain age you are allowed to drive with an adult? That is a little scary. Yes and no, most of my friends are into either top 40, rap or screamo/metal/hardcore. But there are a few who like some of the bands I used to like and still like however most of them aren’t familiar with my favourite genre of music Alternative Rock and there are some (some of my closest friends) who call my music emo and depressing even though they don’t actually know the artist or music :/ But I would prefer to enjoy my music even if it means being called names rather than listening to generic pop rubbish and having a lot of friends with the same music taste. However there are a few with similar taste one of my friends in particular likes alternative rock and listens to some of my favourite bands she’s really into Radiohead and liked Friday Im In Love I shared some of my cure music with her and she really likes lullaby and plainsong, I brought disintegration to school and their was a pic of Robert smith as the spiderman on the booklet and she said ‘he looks creepy... i like it’ it made me smile. And I have another friend with a similar taste he likes the cure but prefers their newer music whereas I love Disintegration 17 seconds , Wish etc. He also like the Smashing Pumpkins and a few of my other favourite bands. So I have a few with similar music taste but most people my age like generic top 40 music like Kesha and Jason Darulo so it’s hard to find people who even know of my favourite bands let alone like them. Do you have friends with the same music taste as you?

...yes they are expensive. You can get cheaper ones (not made by Gibson) but they aren't the same. I want the real one! They are also fairly heavy, which could be an issue because I have a small frame and aren't very strong! Hubby has been playing since he was very young so I guess you could say he is a professional. Although it is something that is very hard to make money off unless you are commercial, which he definitely isn't. He is currently in 2 bands, but as we are moving interstate shortly they will be no more, but he will get something else going when we get settled. He also does recording at home of his own stuff, which he puts up on myspace/facebook/youtube etc. I think he had something entered in JJJ's unearthed this year.

Thank you Auntie Helen, it was for my learners license so I only needed to complete a written test and it was my first try so now I can drive if Im accompanied by an adult ^_^. I'm glad you've got all the last minute bits I still need to get a present for my friend and maybe another for my dad or brother. We also had a somewhat productive shopping day I helped my dad find really nice shirts for our female family friends and their children :)My dad leaves things till the last minute, he got my birthday presents on my birthday so it's good that we are collecting presents before Christmas :) Okay I'll try to explain (Im not sure if you have these in GB) aa spare is a lesson when you don't have any scheduled classes and you are supposed to spend that time working on assignments/studying in the library. I have three spares a week so instead of going to the library which is crowded, I go hang out in the radio room and do my work there or listen to music or talk with my friends who also have spares. In one of our spares my friend brought in a Wii and we spent the lesson dancing haha. Not everyone can get spares in grade 11 as most people who are op eligible study six subjects, i studied seven at the start of the year but it was too much so i dropped science and then got a spare, you can only get them if you are doing a course like radio, or childcare etc. But next year most people can choose to have a spare. If you're still confused i'll try to explain it again :). You're right about Staring at the Sea being their best compilation - I'm not a big fan of "greatest hits" albums as a rule, but I feel SATS really holds it's own as a cohesive collection of great songs. <- That is a great way to express it.

...not in a band...just dabbling. Mu husband has played bass and guitar in bands for years, but yes it was Simon that inspired me to pick it up( I can mostly play Cure songs). One musician in the family is enough for now...I keep saying I am gonna buy a thunderbird...one day!

You're lucky to have an on site radio station at school - I love Jeff Buckley btw - he had the most beautiful voice, shame he's not with us anymore... That's a rather nice way to become a Cure fan, it's always good to share things and to know someone interested in the same songs as you. Charlotte Sometimes is still a favourite of mine well the 1992 Paris live version or the In Orange version is anyways. I also for some reason pretty early on had The Catterpillar before I found Disintegration and their darker songs. I think Straing At The Sea is the best compilation cd of theirs I haven't actually seen a copy at shops but I like the playlist and I really like A Night Like This. I could imagine how you would play Wish repeatdly, I play Disintegration all the time, I really should get Wish I like almost all the songs from it I don't know a few still it would be very enjoyable. I'll either get Wish or Pornography next maybe Wish. It's nice that your boyfriend got you into their darker music and that you shared music taste. I like a few songs from the self titled album but I haven't heard much from it. Yes radio is a lot of fun, I also have my spares in there and it's always nice to have a little room that you and not many other people can access if you're feeling a little stressed or tired or want to get away for a bit. Jeff Buckley does have a beautiful voice and his rendition of Hallujeah is impecable :) It's quite a shame, it's rather sad really also it's a pity that not everyone acknowledges how talented he actually was or how most people my age are unaware of who he was. It took me a while to get round to listening Pornography - I was worried that it would be too dark. It is dark - but really, really good with it. I'm sure you'll love it. I'm almost envious of you, not in a malicious way, just because you are discovering the music for the first time and loving it, which is pretty cool. Mind you, I have a bit of discovering to do myself with the B-sides and rarities so I'll be putting Join the Dots and the deluxe editions on my to-do list. Take Care - Auntie Helen Actually I almost bought Pornography today because the deluxe edition was on sale for $22 but I didn't end up buying it. I've listened to a few tracks but just like you were, I am worried that it will be too dark. Thank you, I'll end up listening to it one day, but in the meantime I will shortly have Faith and Paris to listen to and love. Actually I've heard songs by The Cure like Close To Me and Boys Don't Cry since I was really young and I used to sing Just Like Heaven on Singstar all the time when I was seven but I didn't know who The Cure where, I had heard of them because I like Alternative Rock and a lot of my favourite band's were inspired/influenced by The Cure. A few years ago I heard The Lovecats on the radio and my dad told me a little bit about The Cure, I also remember seeing the video clips to Lets Go To Bed, Boys Don't Cry, Close To Me and Lovecats on television. But it was in 2008 after being told a bit about The Cure by my dad that I first got into them. I listened to their hit songs on youtube and watched some of the videos and I had about six or seven songs on my iPod including A Forest, Pictures Of You, Charlotte Sometimes. For a while I would listen to Charlotte Sometimes and a Forest every night before going to sleep and thinking that the songs were dark and quite different to what I normally listen to but I still enjoyed them. After my Cure phase in Grade Nine I had many other phases then this year I got into The Cure again. In Radio (My highschool has a radio station located on-sight run by the students and our teacher) I had to sort all the cds, whilst doing this I found a few interesting albums a Jeff Buckley CD, Radiohead's Greatest Hits, Alanis Morisette and The Cure's Greatest Hits Cd. I borrowed the CD and listened to all of their hit songs and fell in love all over again, I had a bit of an obession with Friday Im In Love for a while, but they weren't my favourite band at the time then one day I started to listen to all the hits again then I searched Youtube for Charlotte Sometimes and Pictures Of You and it all started from there, searching, reading, listening, experiencing, talking to other Cure fans, etc. Plainsong was and still is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard in my life. So after listening to the majority of their hit songs I went into a darker direction and listened to a lot of songs off Disintegration and a bit of Faith, then I got the deluxe edition of Disintegration for my birthday and well my love for The Cure continues to grow as I experience more of their albums and learn more about them and the very talented and interesting Robert Smith. Still I have a lot of thier music to discover and enjoy. Thank you. How did you become a fan of The Cure and when?

I'm also good. My favourite album by The Cure is Disintegration because it's so beautiful and emotional and powerful. Its so relatable and I adore every song on the album especially Plainsong, Disintegration, Pictures Of You. I just recently bought Seventeen seconds and I really like it especially Play For Today, M, Secrets, Seventeen Seconds and who could resist A Forest. I'm getting the deluxe edition of Faith for Christmas and I really like the title track and all cats are grey I haven't listened to the whole Faith album yet. I've heard that Pornography is a brilliant album and that I need to listen to it, it's quintessential and amazing. I know that it's really dark so I might wait a bit for Pornography but I love One Hundred Years even though it's so bleak. I really like their darker songs and they don't leave me feeling depressed either, sometimes they even make me feel happy but most of all I like the meanings and how relatable the lyrics are.
